Employee Well-being and Motivation

44% of employees experience being stressed in their work – an all-time high

How are your employees (really) doing?

The engagement of employees is key when it comes to a company’s success.

Nothing too controversial in that statement.

So how come so many people don’t feel unmotivated or are outright unhappy in their jobs? Get stressed or experience burnout?

Teams with high engagement create 23% more earnings on the bottom line

How Can I Help You?

In my speaks, I challenge you to rethink the way you go about creating a better work environment to determine what really goes wrong in your department or organization – and the ways to fix it.

And what you can do to promote a culture of motivation, psychological safety, honest feedback, and self-leadership.

Get a rundown of the data (not the “secret”) behind:

Why does it matter?

Because people care about people. Or at least they should.

On a more commercial note, 90% of employees, who think that the culture in their workplace is bad, have considered quitting.

Rethinking the way we handle well-being among employees will result in a more motivated, committed, and honest team, better retention of employees, more innovation, better collaboration, and ultimately higher efficiency.

Not really the issues you are dealing with?

No worries. These are examples, and I always tailor the speak to my client’s specific needs.

As long as it has to do with rethinking and improving work-life, I am your guy (also, I am very humble).

Want an example?

Every challenge is unique, just like every company and individual out there. That’s why my talks are always one-of-a-kind. I approach them with a blend of scientific insight and a touch of humor, serving up customized content that fits your exact needs. Let these examples be like sparks of inspiration.

It has never been more important to focus on employee engagement! In a post-pandemic era, where the global workforce is experiencing the great resignation, companies need to know precisely how to engage, motivate, and retain their employees.

In this talk, you will learn how you can:

  • Provide a strong sense of purpose
  • Promote a culture of self-leadership
  • Establish psychological safety
  • Implement a strength-based ideology

Mental health and well-being are not something for which the individual employee is solely responsible. As an organization, we have an ethical responsibility to ensure that our working environment creates a space for our employees to receive support when coping with mental health issues, regardless of whether they are caused by work-related factors or private factors.

In this keynote, I will provide you with practical guidelines on:

  • Creating clear guidelines for your approach to mental health and well-being.
  • Supporting mental health and well-being in a hybrid work setup.
  • Establishing a culture of psychological safety where it is acceptable to discuss mental health.
  • Managing mental health and well-being as a manager.

The human brain hates discomfort. It activates our entire fight-flight-freeze system just to prevent discomfort from occurring. That is why we often come up with numerous mental excuses to avoid situations where we might face challenges, whether they are physical, mental, or social. However, avoiding discomfort means missing out on opportunities for growth, learning, and success.

In my talk, I will discuss how to thrive in discomfort by:

  • Learning to lean in instead of stepping out
  • Embracing discomfort as an opportunity for growth
  • Increasing self-awareness and accepting the baggage we carry
  • Clarifying personal values and using them to stay true to ourselves
